Dear Chamber Members,
Thank you for your patience and support during
this summer’s transition.
If you haven’t already done so come see
what the dynamic duo, (Kim & Kathy), have done inside. What started out as
a leaky roof (which had to be replaced, and some moldy drywall which led to the discovery of some rotten carpet), has been
painted and replaced. Thankfully our insurance paid for it!
In any community, it is from the profitable operations
of businesses that all other benefits are derived. When businesses succeed, jobs
are created, money flows to civic, educational, cultural and charitable needs. You
as members provide the ideas, drive, goals, funds and voluntary service to keep the Chamber doing what is does. Without your help there wouldn’t be a Chamber, and we encourage you to share your concerns, ideas
and support as we rebuild.
Sincerely,
Jeddy Hood, Chairperson
P.S. Did you know the first Chamber of Commerce was in New York State
in 1768, charted by King George in 1770?
