Free Exposure To Hundreds – The Chamber
Membership Directory is distributed annually to businesses and residents and visitors.
Free Brochure Space – The Chamber
of Commerce Office has space
for your brochure or business cards. Our office receives hundreds of visitors
& phone calls yearly, looking for local business information.
Monthly E– Mail Newsletter - The newsletter is emailed to all members, media coverage and to all chambers within a fifty mile radius of Grayling keeping them informed of all activities.
Web Site - Website link on the Chamber website which averages 1,200 “hits”
monthly. Ability to link your
business website via the membership directory we publish online both alphabetically and categorically.
Business Referrals – We send you the
business! (We refer Chamber Members ONLY!)
Membership Decals are recognized locally and nationally.
Group Health Services— If you would like to join the group health plan, contact the Chamber for our list of Blue Cross Blue Shield Licensed agencies.
Home & Automobile Discounts— as a member of
the Chamber, businesses and individuals are entitled to discounts on insurance through Auto-Owners. Discounts range from 12% on the business, 10% on home insurance, 8%
on car insurance and 8% on workman’s compensation.
Membership Mailing Labels - Members receive one free set of membership mailing labels per year, and subsequent
sets can be purchased for $20.00 each. We do not distribute these to non-members.
Confidential Business Consulting with Michigan
Small Business & Technology Development business plans, small business loan
assistance and financial packaging.
Notary Service—free to members.
Member To Member Advantage Program is designed to
encourage Chamber members to do business with other Chamber members. Participants
are listed two times per year in the Chamber E-News Newsletter and on our website continuously.
Networking Opportunities
Community Awards Night Annual Dinner is an event distinguishing
extraordinary individuals who work to make Grayling a better place to live, play and work; these awards give the Chamber an
opportunity to recognize the
contributions of these individuals.
Men Who Cook is an annual event held each May with a meal
that is planned, prepared and served by the “Great Chef’s of Crawford County”.
Au Sable River Festival is a week long
event including: Grayling Summer Music Series, Kid’s Day, Arts & Craft Show, Classic Car Show, HUP Race, Parade,
Food Court, Weyerhaeuser Au Sable River Canoe Marathon Race, and the Avita Water Black Bear Bicycle Tour.
Business After Hours
are held periodically throughout the year for your networking pleasure!
Coffee Hours
are held periodically during the year, usually on a Friday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 and are a great time to informally gather
and get to know each other.

As the voice of business, the Chamber
advocates the views of the business community to decision-makers at all levels of government.
The Chamber helps to prepare our youth for the future workplace through business/education partnerships and programs. The Chamber focuses on issues and implements programs to
make the local, state, and national business environment more conducive to your
